How to play

Create webs to trap bee projectiles
Once bee projectiles are trapped you can hit them at enemies to damage them
You can walk on walls, and you use WASD to move (W moves you up on a wall, D moves you right on the ground etc.)

About

A procedurally generated bullet-hell rougelite about using your abilities as a spider to get to the honey store in the centre of the hive. Trap bees in the web to shoot back at other enemies to defeat them.
Made in 7 days for Bullet Hell Jam 2020. (I made all the art/code/music/sound in that time)
The theme was confined so I thought about how insects get stuck in spider's webs
The movement mechanics for the game were inspired by SpiderHeck

Controls

WASD to move
Left Click
to slash
Right Click to create web
Space Click to jump/web swing

Resources

The rotating movement uses equations I found in a random maths paper so I'll link that here if anyone's interested

This is a really good game. I like the concept of this game you should work on this game more. Some things I think would be cool is at the end of each room you can level up how big the webs can be how fast you are and your health. another thing would be where you can choose between sticky webs to stick to the enemy or a faster grapple at the beginning. Overall really nice game!

Sorry - just saw this. Yeah, I feel like the concept has a lot more potential than what I managed to do in  the jam, so I think I might work on it for another couple of weeks. Upgrades would definitely be cool, I think more variety would go a long way. Also an actual difficulty curve. I really like it when the player has to make an interesting trade off, so I'll have a think abt things like that. Thank you so much for the feedback!! ^^
